Gray Plant Mooty is celebrating the 10th anniversary of representing individuals and businesses in St. Cloud. In 2002, Gray Plant Mooty combined with the law firm of Hall & Byers, bringing together one of Minnesota’s top ten law firms with one of the most influential business law practices in St. Cloud.
"We joined forces to create an innovative firm with an exciting vision for the future," said Bruce Mooty, chairman of the board at Gray Plant Mooty. "We combined rich histories and traditions, broad talents and experiences, and steadfast commitments to provide exceptional service to our clients and our communities.”
The merger brought to the St. Cloud community our combined professional experience and legal expertise to provide exceptional services for our clients. Over 20 attorneys are based in our St. Cloud office, making Gray Plant Mooty’s legal expertise and community commitment accessible to clients throughout the region.
“The merger of the offices has always been first and foremost about meeting the needs of our clients. As our clients have grown so too has their need for more complex, high quality legal services,” said Ed Laubach, managing officer of the St. Cloud office. “The combination of offices has provided the ability to deliver an expanded scope and breadth of service to all of our clients. The merger has also fostered a culture which provides tremendous opportunities for our attorneys and staff to continue to develop and grow in a respectful workplace.”
As we enter the next decade, we are excited about the prospect of continued growth and will strive to always remain true to our founding principles in providing high-quality legal services to our clients.
