Presented by: Minnesota Public Radio
Gray Plant Mooty is proud to be a Sponsor of 2011-12 MPR Broadcast Journalist Series. In the final event of this season, Stephen Smith will interview New York Times op-ed columnist Ross Douthat. They'll discuss Douthat's supposition that American religion has declined as a mainstream, bi-partisan voice in American politics. Ross Douthat joined The New York Times in April 2009. Previously, he was a senior editor at the Atlantic and a blogger for theatlantic.com. He is the author of "Privilege: Harvard and the Education of the Ruling Class" and the co-author, with Reihan Salam, of "Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream." He is the film critic for National Review.
