Lena Hamideh is a paralegal with the Franchise & Distribution Practice Group. With 17 years of experience in the legal industry and more than a decade in the franchise arena, she works closely with the firm’s attorneys and clients on regulatory, transactional, international, and M&A transactions.
Lena assists the franchise team with filings of state- and country-specific franchise registrations, and renewals. In addition, she corresponds with state examiners and conducts legal research. She is also highly skilled in coordinating, scheduling, and ensuring deadlines are met for a variety of franchisor-oriented matters.
Lena has assisted with franchise articles for numerous publications, including the Stanford Journal of Law, Business & Finance; “Legal Aspects of Selling and Buying 3rd Edition;” Franchise Times; Franchising World; 1851 Magazine; and the Franchisor Pipeline website. She has been mentioned in several franchise publications.
Lena speaks two languages and has lived in nine countries—all of which has given her a sophisticated understanding of franchise clients’ domestic and global strategic business needs. Lena joined Gray Plant Mooty in 2018 and is based in Washington, D.C.
