Jesse Sixkiller advises clients from various industries through mergers and acquisitions, commercial contract negotiations, private equity and venture capital deals, securities offerings, and day-to-day legal/business issues. In addition to his transactional practice, Jesse has extensive experience advising founders, management and boards of business clients ranging from tech start-ups to public companies and agricultural cooperatives with respect to entity formation, corporate reorganizations, and governance matters.
Before joining Gray Plant Mooty, Jesse was an associate at a global law firm. Prior to that, Jesse served as a law clerk at the United States Bankruptcy Court in Saint Paul and Minneapolis under the Honorable Gregory F. Kishel and Honorable Nancy C. Dreher, respectively.
Jesse also has a strong background in Federal Indian Law and has represented tribes and tribal-owned entities in connection with business transactions, economic development initiatives, and general business-related matters.
