Betsy helps individuals and families prepare for the future through the preparation of estate planning, business succession and charitable giving plans, and related documents. She assists families with probate, estate administration, and the preparation of estate tax returns.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Betsy clerked with the Trust, Estate, & Charitable Planning group from November 2012-May 2013, and served as a summer associate for the St. Cloud office in 2012. She also spent time working with Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services as a volunteer clerk and the University of Minnesota Child Advocacy and Juvenile Justice Clinic as a student attorney.
During law school, Betsy was involved with the Minnesota Women’s Lawyers Liaison for Women’s Law Student Association, served as the Vice-President for the Asylum Law Project, and was a participant in the International Negotiation Project.
