Amanda Mills represents clients in a variety of litigation matters, primarily focusing on white collar criminal defense, real estate, and financial lending litigation. She also advises clients on these and other matters, offering guidance that helps them avoid the need for litigation whenever possible.
Amanda, who graduated summa cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, first joined Gray Plant Mooty for just over one year before leaving private practice to clerk for the Honorable Patrick J. Schiltz in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. She returned to Gray Plant Mooty in 2017.
At William Mitchell, she was active in the Mitchell Fellows Program, represented William Mitchell in a national trial advocacy competition and served as a legal extern for the Honorable John R. Tunheim of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. Amanda was also an editor of Volume 41 of the William Mitchell Law Review and co-chair of the Student Bar Association's Alumni Relations Committee.
Volunteering has always been an important part of Amanda's life. Amanda currently works on numerous pro bono cases and volunteers with the VLN Housing Court Project, Mitchell Mentors and the Knox Alumni Mentoring Program. Amanda also serves as the secretary of the board of directors of Find Your Power, a local non-profit organization focused on empowering women worldwide through access to technology, education and other resources.
