“Jen, Chris and the Gray Plant Mooty team proved instrumental in helping us succeed. Their wise counsel and strategic guidance helped us navigate very complex customer arrangements to achieve our short and long term goals.” - Quantum Retail Technology co-founder Vicki Raport
Quantum Retail Technology is an industry-leading innovator of retail-focused supply chain management and inventory optimization solutions that serves many of the world’s top retailers through dynamic merchandising intelligence software.
Nearly a decade ago, when the founders of Quantum required assistance contracting with retailers on complex, multi-million dollar licensing agreements and multi-year services contracts, they reached out to GPM intellectual property attorney Jennifer Debrow, who became point person on customer software contracts.
As the company grew, Chris Carlisle, Co-Chair of GPM’s General Business and Entrepreneurial Services Groups, became outside general counsel, assisting on a variety of matters. In particular, Chris advised the board on governance and finance strategy through the 2008 recession and beyond. In 2015, when Quantum sought to complete its sale to software enterprise giant Versata, Chris led a team of GPM attorneys who were able to finalize the sale in less than 45 days.
“Jen, Chris and the Gray Plant Mooty team proved instrumental in helping us succeed,” said Quantum Retail Technology co-founder Vicki Raport. “Their wise counsel and strategic guidance helped us navigate very complex customer arrangements to achieve our short and long term goals.”
