Max is an associate at Gray Plant Mooty and a member of the firm’s Business Advisory Group. His practice is focused primarily on business matters involving entrepreneurial companies, merger and acquisition transactions, and securities law issues. Max works with clients in a variety of industries, including clean technologies, renewable and alternative energies, software, medical devices, food and agriculture, mobile technologies, health care IT, manufacturing, and transportation.
Experience
- Represented a for-profit higher education company in its going public transaction (by reverse merger) and subsequent public offering of its shares
- Represented a social commerce company in multiple rounds of preferred financing
- Represented a solar energy company in a round of bridge financing
- Represented a privately held waste transportation company in a sale of its assets to a publicly held company
- Represented privately held audio design and manufacturing business in a sale of its assets to an Italian private equity fund
