Julia is an associate and member of the Business Advisory practice group. She focuses her practice in the areas of general business law and public bond financing.
Previous to her employment with Gray Plant Mooty, Julia worked as an associate at a large law firm in New York City, where she worked on various legal matters for corporate and litigation practice groups. She also worked as a pro bono attorney for the New York Legal Assistance Group, where she assisted the Special Litigation Unit with Medicaid/Medicare cases.
While in law school, she clerked for Mid-Minnesota Legal Assistance, the Law Offices of William Mauzy, and the Office of the Minnesota State Public Defender—Appellate Division. Offenhauser also served as a facilitator for Central City Neighborhood.

- Represent early stage companies with corporate formation and corporate governance
- Represent a privately held retail company in a variety of general corporate matters
- Represented public and private companies with securities law compliance and filings at the federal and state levels
- Represented privately held restaurant chain in stock sale
- Represented privately held voting and electronic solicitation company in a stock sale to private equity fund
- Assisted with representation of a privately held special waste disposal and consulting company in its sale to a publicly held strategic acquirer
- Assisted with representation of a for-profit higher education company in its going public transaction (by reverse merger) and subsequent public offering of its shares
- Represented a privately held med tech company with conversion to Delaware corporation, issuance of various classes of preferred stock and the sale of its preferred stock
