John is a principal at Gray Plant Mooty. He practices primarily in the area of public finance, acting as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and borrower’s counsel on municipal bond transactions, including transactions involving hospital and nursing home revenue bonds, multi-family housing and senior housing revenue bonds, governmental revenue bonds, industrial development bonds, higher education bonds, cultural facility bonds, tax increment bonds, general obligation bonds, and lease obligations. John has also acted as lender’s counsel and borrower’s counsel in financing transactions involving Native American tribes. He has participated in public finance transactions in many different states, ranging from routine general obligation bond issues to the most complicated revenue bond and conduit financing transactions.
