
Collin is an associate in the Franchise & Distribution practice group as well as a member of the firm's Trademark team. His practice involves counseling clients on a variety of intellectual property and technology issues, including domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement, copyright, e-commerce, Internet-based intellectual property strategy, payment card system security, and advertising and promotions issues, including contest rules and rights of privacy and publicity.
Collin has experience conducting trademark clearance searches, working with foreign counsel on the protection of foreign trademarks, securing domain names through the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy, drafting intellectual property licenses, and performing due diligence research. Collin also has experience assisting franchisors in the preparation and registration of franchise disclosure documents.
Collin worked as a policy coordinator for the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, DC, prior to attending law school.
