Bruce represents and counsels public and private companies in a wide variety of industries. He is currently serving as a managing officer of Gray Plant Mooty.


  • Represents buyers and sellers in numerous acquisitions, mergers and divestitures in the restaurant, sports, entertainment, transportation, real estate development, computer, water conditioning, musical instrument, and retail merchandising industries, as well as other industries
  • Represented the buyer in the acquisition of the Minnesota Timberwolves professional basketball team
  • Represented the seller in the sale of the Minnesota Vikings professional football team
  • Represented the Joint Legislative Committee in the investigation of the 35-W bridge collapse
  • Represents religious institutions in various real estate, employment, and governance matters
  • Represents franchisors in the purchase of multi-state, multi-store franchises
  • Represented developers in private placement syndications
  • Regularly counsels clients as outside general counsel on key business decisions
