Nathe, Adam

Adam is a principal at Gray Plant Mooty. He concentrates his practice in commercial lending, representing clients who are engaged in a wide spectrum of commercial financing transactions. Adam represents financial institutions, institutional lenders, and corporations of varying sizes in debt financings, secured and unsecured, project financings, and securitizations. Adam has extensive experience in the alternative energy finance area, and in recent years, has represented clients in project financings for numerous ethanol, biofuel, and wind projects. Adam also advises businesses of varying sizes in diverse industries in negotiating a wide range of contracts and general corporate matters. Before focusing on lending and transactional matters, Adam was a commercial litigator and has experience in general commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and collections.


  • Representing senior lenders in negotiating syndicated and participated project financings for ethanol production facilities in Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin
  • Representing senior lenders in negotiating project financings for wind power generating facilities
  • Representing financial institutions, institutional lenders and corporations (for profit, non-profit and franchisors) in negotiating and documenting loans and loan workouts
  • Representing Farm Credit Systems institutions in structuring innovative rural investment programs
  • Representing a large national telecommunications company before the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission
