Trust, Estate & Charitable Planning
Your family is important to us. We work closely with families and their advisors to prepare and administer estate plans that pass on family values, provide for the care and support of family members and friends, transfer assets, transition the family business, benefit charities, and minimize income taxes, and estate and gift taxes.

Trust and Estate Administration
We assist personal representatives, trustees, or beneficiaries during all aspects of the probate of an estate or the administration of a trust. The process involves communicating effectively, selecting an appropriate fiduciary, gathering asset and liability information, protecting the assets, valuing the assets, preparing an inventory, preparing tax returns, paying debts and taxes, resolving claims, preparing annual and final accounts, and making distributions.

Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution
We work with trustees, personal representatives, and beneficiaries of trusts and estates to resolve disputes. Planning ahead and communicating effectively can often reduce or eliminate trust and estate disputes. If a dispute arises, we can assist by listening to the parties involved, providing options to address the issues, and guiding the process toward resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved in this manner, our experience includes litigation in state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation and arbitration.
Tax Dispute Resolution
We provide complete income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax dispute resolution services, from IRS audit and appeals procedures to tax litigation in state and federal courts. We have the knowledge and experience necessary to resolve tax disputes efficiently and effectively.
