Gray Plant Mooty Receives Minnesota Keystone Program Honored Company Award
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (December 2, 2009) — The Minneapolis-based law firm of Gray Plant Mooty (GPM) is proud to announce that the firm is the recipient of the 33rd Annual Minnesota Keystone Honored Company Award in the medium-size company category. Tamara Hjelle Olsen, GPM’s managing officer, accepted the award at a recognition ceremony held at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis on Wednesday, December 2.
The Minnesota Keystone Program recognizes and honors companies that donate at least 2 percent of their pre-tax earnings to the community. Over 30 years ago, 23 Minnesota companies created the program to recognize and encourage charitable giving and to set an example for their business colleagues. Today, there are more than 200 Keystone member companies.
Each year, three Keystone companies are chosen to be honored for their exceptional giving programs. One honoree is chosen from each of three categories based on business size: small, medium, and large. The honored companies stand out for their levels and methods of giving within the business community and serve as a model for others to follow.
Gray Plant Mooty is a 17-year Keystone member. In addition to providing exceptional legal services to its clients, the firm is also deeply committed to community service. Through leadership and involvement in charitable organizations, GPM lawyers, paralegals, and staff strive to make a positive difference in their local and national communities.
GPM has participated in projects with organizations such as Hats for Hope, Jeremiah Program, Habitat for Humanity, United Way, Walk MS, Hearts & Hammers, Everybody Wins!, and Memorial Blood Centers.
