Gray Plant Mooty Hires Molly Hoeg as Director of IT

MINNEAPOLIS, MN  (April 24, 2008) – Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce that Molly Hoeg has joined the firm as Director of Information Technology. She will manage the development and production activities of the Information Technology department, recommend courses of action for new or improved systems, and direct the migration of firm technology to new hardware and software platforms. Hoeg will also partner with the Director of Litigation Support and the Director of the Information Resources Center to ensure that all technology services are delivered to firm personnel in a coordinated manner.

“I’m very excited to join Gray Plant Mooty,” says Hoeg. “It’s a long-standing firm with an outstanding reputation both locally and nationally, with strong emphasis on superb service to its clients. I’m looking forward to working with GPM’s talented team of lawyers and staff members, and the challenges of managing the technology environment to support the firm's strategy and enable its vision of the future.”

Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty, Hoeg spent 22 years in Information Technology at the Star Tribune, most recently as its Director of IT. She held management positions in the newspaper’s IT department for 12 years. Earlier in her career, Hoeg worked at RCA Corporation and Eastman Kodak Company.

“Molly brings the full package to Gray Plant Mooty: energy, enthusiasm, technical expertise, management savvy and a strong commitment to superior client service, says GPM’s Executive Director, Karen Reynolds. “We are excited about the depth that she will add to our strong management team.”

Hoeg earned her M.B.A. from the University of Rochester at Rochester, NY; her M.S. from the University of Bath at Bath, England; and her B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Knox College at Galesburg, IL.
