Charles Lentz Joins GPM's Employment Law Group
Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce that Charles "Chuck" Lentz has joined the firm’s Minneapolis office. As of counsel to GPM’s Employment Law practice group, Chuck focuses his practice on employment and labor law issues, with an emphasis on the litigation of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and related claims in federal and state courts as well as before federal, state, and local enforcement agencies.
Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty, Chuck practiced for 23 years at another Top 10 Minneapolis law firm.
“Chuck brings broad expertise and a great depth of experience to GPM's employment and labor law teams,” says Judith Bevis Langevin, chair of GPM’s Employment Law practice group. “He's both a trusted advisor and counselor to employers and a respected litigator of employment claims of all kinds. We're honored that he's joined the firm.”
Chuck routinely provides advice and counsel to clients on matters such as EEO compliance, affirmative action, wage and hour issues, unemployment compensation issues, workplace safety, and all other areas of employer-employee relationships. He also conducts training for clients on a variety of issues including harassment prevention and compliance with laws prohibiting discrimination.
He earned his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and his B.A. from Macalester College. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals (Seventh, Eighth and Eleventh Circuits) and the U.S. District Court (Minnesota, Colorado, Central District of Illinois, Eastern District of Wisconsin and Southern District of Texas). Chuck is also a member of the society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and a founding member of the Minnesota Management Attorneys Association.
