GPM Franchise Attorneys Named to The International Who’s Who of Franchise Lawyers 2008

Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce that Franklin Jesse, Gaylen Knack and Robert Zisk are three of just 215 attorneys worldwide to be recognized in The International Who’s Who of Franchise Lawyers 2008.

Scheduled for publication in November 2007, The International Who's Who of Franchise Lawyers 2008 will form the Franchise chapter to the annual compendium volume, WHO’S WHO LEGAL—The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers 2008. WHO’S WHO LEGAL (www.whoswholegal.com) is a one-stop referral source covering more than 25 areas of business law. Impartial, comprehensive and independent research seeks to identify a select group of specialist lawyers around the world who can represent corporations in complex matters.

The research begins with conversations with private practice lawyers of repute either in the practice area in question or in related fields, as well as with general counsel; the individuals and firms they recommend are then canvassed using questionnaires. The returned data is collated with information gleaned from the legal and financial media and respondent corporate counsel, and then a preliminary listing is compiled and distributed to all the lawyers who have been mentioned in the research, requesting their comments. Lawyers are initially invited to submit their opinions in written form and these comments are incorporated into the listing. Finally, international telephone and face-to-face interviews are conducted to narrow the list to a selection of 200-600 lawyers who, by general agreement, are considered the pre-eminent lawyers in their fields.
