Careers: Firm Culture

Gray Plant Mooty emphasizes a healthy work-life balance, and has a collaborative approach to the firm’s management and direction. We have the distinction of being named one of the "Great Places to Work" for five consecutive years for our outstanding work environment. These are some of the reasons for the spirited and congenial atmosphere at the firm. An elected Board of Directors oversees operations of the firm. Supporting the board are 12 active committees and 12 practice groups. Some of these committees include:

  • The Attorney Personnel Committee – where many of our associates serve – supervises the hiring, training, and development of new associates and administers the firm’s summer associate program.
  • The Technology Committee is devoted to continually maintaining and upgrading our technology to compete in today’s marketplace.
  • The Diversity Committee assists the firm in attracting and retaining a highly qualified and diverse work force, and in fostering a culture where people of all backgrounds are encouraged to achieve their highest potential.
  • The Pro Bono Committee helps the firm's attorneys and staff fulfill the unmet needs of the poor and disadvantaged in obtaining access to our legal system.
