Pro Bono & Community Involvement

At Gray Plant Mooty, we believe that along with the privilege of practicing law comes a responsibility to make sure everybody has access to the legal system, regardless of resources.

And we attract many attorneys and other professionals who agree.

To encourage that commitment to service, we have set a goal for our lawyers to devote at least three percent of their collective billable time to pro bono work each year.

Our Pro Bono committee helps match attorneys and paralegals with service opportunities that fit their interests, working through organizations such as the Minnesota State Bar Association Pro Bono Roundtable, Management Assistance Program, Advocates for Human Rights, Volunteer Lawyers Network, LegalCorps, and the Federal Courts Pro Bono Project.

Our Commitment to Our Community

Gray Plant Mooty is deeply committed to the improvement of our community. Through leadership and involvement in charitable organizations, our lawyers, paralegals, and staff strive to make a positive difference in our local and national communities. Our firm has participated in projects and organizations such as Hats for Hope, Jeremiah Program, Habitat for Humanity, United Way, Walk MS, Hearts & Hammers, and Memorial Blood Centers.
