Lindsey Day focuses her practice in the areas of corporate governance, start-up and emerging companies, general business law, mergers and acquisitions, and securities. She has extensive experience advising early stage, small, and mid-size businesses on legal issues encountered throughout a business’s life cycle, including entity selection and formation, governance matters, contract drafting and negotiation, financing needs (private placements and private equity and debt offerings), corporate restructurings, shareholder matters, and succession planning.
Lindsey is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. Prior to practicing law, she was a senior associate in Tax Services at Ernst & Young LLP, where she assisted with international tax restructuring projects, worked to resolve state and local tax issues for large financial institutions, and helped clients find ways to best achieve their business objectives.
Lindsey is also an attorney volunteer with the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Wills for Heroes program, which provides estate planning services to Minnesota’s first responders at no charge.
